@mutualaid bump, My mother, who has been in and out of the hospital with stomach issues for years - constantly with stints and had many surgeries, is now needing to head to an emergency appointment tomorrow, as requested by the Dr.
We live dollar-to-dollar & everything JUST went to bills. Ultimately - we've no way to afford getting her there via uber and now for the follow-up surgery coming later in January.

Seit ein paar Wochen lässt #Paypal immer wieder willkürlich Daueraufträge platzen ohne mich darüber zu informieren, trotz ausreichender Dechung. Ein paar Tage später gehts dann plötzlich doch wie von selbst.

In my impoverished life of #culinary creations to feed myself, I have no idea what exactly this is, but in my crockpot I have placed a bag of frozen peppers with onions, broccoli, soup mix vegetables, I cut up some carrots and potatoes added a 28oz can of diced tomatoes, seasoned with garlic powder, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, 1 stick of butter and 1 box of chicken stock, and in 6 hours I will have a vegetable medley, that on a cold December day should bring warmth to the soul and nourishment to the body in a cacophony of scarcity, comes a winters dinner delight;

After a frigid sleepless night the old man drags his pain riddled body out of a sunken bed of thorny shards of glass, his body stiff and struggling to move, as his classical music plays he stumbles off to make his morning coffee, his hands trembling as he adds the water and counts the scoops of grind, frozen to the core from the night he shuffles off to the toilet where his bowels let out a bellowing scream of hunger, shivering he elects to take a hot shower, quivering he turns on the water and enters it's warmth, struggling he brushes his teeth, washes his hair and beard, struggling to grasp the bar of soap he manages to bathe himself, after a short rinse he turns the water off and grabs his towel, dripping he steps out the shower door, half bent over he dries his hair and brushes it and his beard out, shuffling back to his bed, he puts on his red union suit, he struggles to pull on his socks and pants, he fumbles as he pulls on his boots, he pours a cup of coffee and packs his pipe with scraps of his tobacco, he goes to put on his watch, and suddenly confused the mechanics of such a simple task become aggravating, as for some reason he can not grasp how to put a watch on his wrist, ready to give up it happens to go on, he opens the door and stumbles outside, the air sharp as ice dark before the sun rise, the world is clueless as to his plight and the desperation in his life;
