Mir wurde mehrfach ein Verweis auf www1.wdr.de/nachrichten/paypal… in den Feed gespült, und da dachte ich, ich sehe mal nach, selbst eine Stunde Aufwand wäre in Etappen ja machbar.
In den Paypal-Einstellungen unter "Cookies und Datenschutzeinstellungen" lässt sich die Weitergabe an Partner einschränken - allerdings nur mit erheblichem Zeitaufwand.
Allein: Wo sollen diese Einstellungen sein? Am ehesten vermutet man die doch unter paypal.com/myaccount/privacy/s… - da gibts aber nur
Kann es sein, daß der Autor ähnlich einer KI Dinge herbeihalluziniert, die es gar nicht gibt?
Oder daß gar Jörg Schieb mittlerweile durch eine KI ersetzt wurde?
Oder sehe ich den Punkt einfach nicht mit den 600 Werbepartnern?

Wünsche ich mir auch - wird kommen! Zentral ist eher, dass wir schnellstmöglich eine kritische Masse an Nutzern haben, die #Wero nutzen. Dann wird das Projekt auch stärker gefördert.
Schau dir an, wie weit verbreitet #PayPal ist. So gut wie alle meine Bekannten und Freunde nutzen ausschließlich die mobile App für PayPal.

Wie ist das bei Revolut denn datenschutztechnisch zu sehen? #Datenschutz ist - neben #unplugTrump - ja das Einzige, was wirklich gegen #Paypal spricht. Die Verbreitung, insbesondere auch in #Webshops, spricht (leider) ganz klar dafür 😡

Noch eine kleine Ergänzung: ich habe schon vor einer ganzen Weile #Wero installiert und das, obwohl meine Bank das bisher nicht unterstützt hat. Seit dem 15.12.2025 ist nun auch die Deutsche Bank dabei, bei der ich mein Konto habe. 🥳
Da ich #PayPal eigentlich nur zum bezahlen im Internet nutze, hoffe ich, dass es bald auch Shops gibt, die Wero unterstützen. Bisher sieht es da dünn aus, aber ich bin zuversichtlich.
Wäre schön, wenn dieses europäische Projekt nicht scheitern würde.
