Open source is evolving, AI-assisted development means UX designers, security engineers, and domain experts can contribute at the spec level without writing implementation code.
But this only works if we extend "open" beyond code to include specifications and governance, trust demands inspectable pipelines, accessibility demands inclusive participation.
