Phoronix confirmed April 27 that Linux 7.1-rc1-rt1 pulls every 32-bit ARM real-time patch into mainline. PREEMPT_RT (the real-time patch set) ran out-of-tree since 2011. It powered industrial controllers, robotics, and embedded process control on Cortex-A hardware. Yocto and embedded Debian can now ship vanilla mainline with real-time enabled. Fifteen years of patches. One merge.
