Und doch, in immer klareren Momenten, spüre ich: Sie gehören mir nicht wirklich. Ich besitze die Hardware, ja – aber die Kontrolle? Die liegt anderswo. Bei Konzernen, deren Geschäftsmodell darin besteht, meine Aufmerksamkeit zu verkaufen, meine Gewohnheiten zu protokollieren und meine Abhängigkeit zu zementieren.

Europa braucht eigene Plattformen. Das stimmt. Aber der Ort allein macht nichts besser. Auch eine Firma in Europa kann Daten missbrauchen. Wichtig ist: offene Technik, wenig Datensammlung und echte Kontrolle durch Nutzer. Sonst ist W nur alter Wein in neuen Schläuchen.
