TIL: Ich kann meiner #Garmin - #Smartwatch doch auch mit #Gadgetbridge beibringen Wetter-Daten anzuzeigen.
Dafür muss ich nur irgendeinen geeigneten Provider installieren (z.B. https://f-droid.org/en/packages/de.kaffeemitkoffein.tinyweatherforecastgermany/ )
Ich hatte bisher angenommen dass das halt eine fehlende Funktion ist, die ich nicht dringend brauch, aber offensichtlich fehlt hier ziemlich gar nix mehr?
In Summe bleibt: weniger von dem Sozialscheiß-Datensharing-Zeugs ("folgende dir-unbekannte Personen waren auf diesem Streckenabschnitt schneller als du"), dafür WICHTIGE Funktionen (z.B. GPX-Export) deutlich angenehmer zu nutzen und das alles in #OpenSource und ohne Netzwerkberechtigung.
Ich mag es.

A volte sento discorsi anche sofisticati sul perchè Linux tende a diffondersi meno di Win sui desktop (nonostante abbia toccato il 5% il mese scorso eh).
Secondo me il punto è semplice: Windows arriva preinstallato ( e il 99% delle persone non è che si mette a disinstallare cose, configurare ecc. lo usa come arriva e stop).
Linux va installato invece ! (lasciate perdere VM, dualboot ecc. son cose che sa fare chi già saprebbe installarsi linux da solo).
