Just updated a package with yay and watched it pull, patch, and build from source like it’s nothing. Still wild that this is just normal on Arch. No container, no VM, no fighting the package manager; just source to binary, the way it should be.

I just remembered the HQ9+ compiler I made 1088 days ago. Reading through the README, I'm shocked at how well written it is and how actually funny I came across.
Maybe sleeping 10 minutes every day was the key to making good jokes.
