Me: I'm going to use more #opensource software and get Linux. Not give Microsoft a few hundred SEK per month.
Me at work: can I get the e-sign function in Adobe?
"Oh it's not covered by your Adobe Pro license, you need to get it separately, that will be 12 000 SEK for this year."
I thought it was a misunderstanding, seemingly not. 😐 I guess that's how these conpanies make the big money.

This is a good overview of the move to #OpenSource in Europe, but everything in it would be equally true and important if the word 'foreign' was deleted throughout. It is the state's reliance on a *company*, which can be bought and sold and act according to its own values, to provide its tech stack that is the real problem.
