Later today I am going to present a generic version of the “First-time Contributor’s Workshop” at the ColumbusJS User Group as part of the start of Hacktoberfest 2025. It has been a long-time coming as I mentioned wanted to do this for several years.
It was hard to develop a slide deck for any Open Source project. In our Drupal slide deck, we go in-depth into the quirks of the Drupal contribution process, and each project out there has their own quirks and contribution guidelines.
