In my i3 config I have this line which allows me to switch between colemak, qwerty and russian keyboards by pressing alt-shift.
exec_always --no-startup-id "setxkbmap -layout 'us,us,ru' -variant 'colemak_base,,' -option 'grp:alt_shift_toggle'
For some reason when i3lock is run with the --keylayout 1 option, the password prompt can be bypassed by switching from russian to english with alt-shift. Switching from english to russian doesn't have the same effect. The package is i3lock-color 2.13.c.5-3 from the aur on archlinux.

Nie wieder Synology!
NAS-Boxen kann man fertig* kaufen. Bekannte Hersteller sind QNAP, Synology oder Western Digital. Aber alle arbeiten mit proprietärer Closed-Source Software, auch wenn drunter ein Linux-Kern stecken mag. Allein schon wegen der Sicherheitslücken insbesondere in Synology und QNAP würde ich um deren Geräte einen großen Bogen machen. Bei Synology kommt noch der bedenkliche Name hinzu: S...ology löst eine üble Assoziation bei mir aus. So etwas käme mir NIEMALS ins Haus. Die Firma (sic!) hat sich jetzt zusätzlich einen Stunt geleistet, der sie ein für alle mal von sämtlichen Einkaufslisten löschen sollte.

Kleine Nachtschicht beim #KarenzWizard eingelegt: Das Mini-Tool "Anspruch für einkommensabhängiges Kinderbetreuungsgeld" ist jetzt online als Prototyp. Vor allem bei Jobwechsel/Jobsuche vor Geburt kann es passieren, dass man gar nicht anspruchsberechtigt ist. (Hat Partner/in Anspruch, gibt es aber ggf. Sonderleistung 1)
Bin noch nicht ganz zufrieden, geht vielleicht noch kompakter und einfacher verständlich bzgl. UI/UX.
