Praktisch en in actie: dit is de beste manier om HTML te leren. Je eigen website schrijven is nu eenvoudig! Concentreer je dus op de artistieke en schriftelijke aspecten. In a few weeks, I will announce a #FOSS project I've been working on over the past year. I'm going to offer a free instance for the community, and I don't really feel like self-hosting the email for it.
Do you have any recommendations of an email provider running free software, where I can host the email for this project? It doesn't need a lot of space, it's just for sending the typical confirmation emails and not much more.
Of course, big tech is out of question.

Bei der Gelegenheit: Heute haben wir in unserer NPO den ersten Schritt getan: Die MX-Records und DNS-Einträge wurden entmicrosoftet und auf den neuen europäisch-souveränen Cloudanbieter mit Base zwischen Hessen und Bayern umgestellt. Die digitale Werkbank erhielt daraufhin ein Linux spendiert. Mit prima Dienstleistern schafft man den Vendor Lockin einfach ab. Ein Tag der befriedigenden Praxis digitaler Souveränität.

Look, I get it when projects and contributor pools are "small". BDFLs and buddy systems can work really well when the scope and impact of a project is not very large, and the fallout of any truly bad decisions is fairly contained.
Once you get past a certain size however, it's terrible. It's bad in government. It's bad in corporations. It's bad in non-profits. It's bad in churches.
I've seen first hand how personal loyalties cloud good judgement. Cult of personality is wrong.
