I've long wanted all #opensource projects to publish an AI policy. It's useful information for both users and contributors.
Is it a "move fast and break things" project where anything goes? Will a project reject my submission if there is even the faintest hint of AI assistance, regardless of code quality?
Planify's AI policy at https://github.com/alainm23/planify/blob/main/AI_POLICY.md sets a good example. Whether you agree with their positions or not, the policy definitely sets clear expectations.
