Wer sich für die eigene Datenhoheit und damit für #opensource Lösungen entscheidet, tut das nicht nur aus dem Beweggrund Preis, sondern hauptsächlich um die heimische #IT souverän aufzustellen und so seine #digitale Welt eigenverantwortlicher aufzustellen.

Na ja wie schon erwähnt Apple funktioniert wirklich gut aber mein Herz und der Verstand sagt Linux und Opensource sowie Fairphone mit e/os sind die besseren Systeme.
den es sind meine Daten und vor allem meine Metadaten. Aber vor allem ist es ein viel besseres Gefühl zumindest für mich ein Stück weniger von der Amerikanschen willkür abhängig zu sein.

Ruby Central publishes an incident report about the RubyGems repo takeover—and it immediately reopens all the wounds. The original controversy: Ruby Central (the nonprofit) asserted control over RubyGems and Bundler repos, removed maintainers from GitHub orgs, and blurred the line between running a service and owning the ecosystem.
Investigations later alleged Shopify manipulated Ruby Central into the takeover. Now the report tries to provide closure but the community isn't having it.
