Bonjour Avez-vous connaissance d'un projet d'outil de mesure de bruit et/ou de la qualité de l'air en Open Source ?

Should something be considered Open Source if cybersecurity features, such as SSO or MFA, are locked behind a paid tier? To me, insecurity by design seems to run counter to the idea of working together for a better world.

**RESOURCE** — Caramelo

A VS Code extension that brings GitHub's spec-driven development workflow to local editing. Visual approval gates + Jira integration. Works with any LLM.

**VALUE** — If your team uses AI coding tools and wants guardrails that keep outputs aligned with actual requirements, this adds structured checkpoints. Think code review, but for AI-generated changes.

Easter test weekend, initial findings. 😎

:fedora: On Fedora 44 Beta GNOME Edition, the file manager crashes every time I try to access my NAS. There are also frequent freezes with apps that weren’t included by default and were installed later.

:ubuntu: Ubuntu 26.04 LTS also comes with GNOME 50, and unlike Fedora, it already includes kernel 7.0, which is great—especially for the latest hardware. This beta also seems to run more smoothly and stably than Fedora’s beta.

However, it’s impossible to install or get Flatpaks to work, even though I installed the feature myself.

It was also absolutely impossible to install the Nextcloud client, neither as a Snap nor as a Flatpak. I couldn’t get AppImage to start, even after making it executable.

Nevertheless, both distributions already make a great impression and leave me wanting more as soon as they become stable. Ubuntu, in particular, has positively surprised me after many years; major strides have been made, whereas with Fedora, hardly any major changes are noticeable—they’re more under the hood. 👍

The European Commission ran Trivy, a security scanner, inside its automated build pipeline on AWS. A criminal group called TeamPCP poisoned Trivy itself.

The scanner had elevated permissions. Attackers used that access to steal 340 GB. ShinyHunters, a data extortion gang, published the dataset. 71 hosted clients affected.

Same attack hit Sportradar (23,169 athlete records, 328 API credential pairs offered for up to $50K) and 1,000+ other organizations.
