The Unix tools philosophy to me is still the holy grail of software development.

Its not writing small programs because of size restrictions and such.

Its about focus, simplicity and being able to maintain what you build.

If you have a large program solving one single problem its fine.

I've been proving this to myself with a 150 line React replacement and a 100 line video streaming tool.

Both working just fine in production.
