Mozilla shipped Thunderbolt this week: a self-hosted enterprise AI client with model choice and open tool standards for plug-in calls. The same week Cal.com closed its source citing AI scanners. Two opposite moves, same AI pressure. For regulated shops stuck on Copilot data-residency reviews, sovereign AI is not a future slide anymore. It is a Docker install.
