#Lisp is a computer programming language, which is very brace-dominated (like a few others ), and in #Emacs, there is a BUILT-IN package called Electric-Pair-mode, which helps in that regard.

I’m sick to death of people who want to complain about freedom-respecting software, but can’t even do the bare minimum of reporting the issues and/or donating to the projects.
Even more so when they are developers themselves! They could even fix the issues, but they just choose to whine and whine and whine instead.
And even more when there are literal bounties on issues so you can get paid for fixing them!! (e.g. see https://prav.app )

Kudos to Google on their new anti-ransomware initiative initiative in Google Drive. I am not encouraging anyone to switch to start using Google Drive or other Google products but I could see how this saves someone‘s butt. Note: if you do want to use #GoogleDrive consider pairing it with #cryptomator an #OpenSource program that allows you to encrypt your data locally before it goes to the cloud.
