Eigentlich wollte ich nur eine Lizenz für meine zwei kleinen GNOME Apps auswählen, Boot Mate und Cargo. Daraus wurde ein längerer Artikel.
Warum sind der Linuxkern, Git, BusyBox, QEMU und MariaDB bewusst bei der GPLv2 geblieben, obwohl es seit 2007 die GPLv3 gibt? Und warum bin ich am Ende für meine eigenen Projekte denselben Weg gegangen?
