I wonder if this just says something about the meetups I joined — or if this say suggests something broader happening with meetup.com

A few months ago, #Meetup once again drastically increased its prices. They are now chargint me $108.09 every six months for organizing #Hackergarten #Luzern. That’s $216.18 per year! Since I’m not willing to pay that, I will only be able to use Meetup until 09/11. I’m currently working on a distributed, free and open source #alternative, which will soon be available free of charge to all Hackergarten organizers at https://events.hackergarten.net.
