E-Mail war einfach, aber #threema nervt mich gerade ungemein: wenn ich das richtig verstehe, gibt es keinen weg von threema IOS zu Android ohne seine gesamte Historie zu verlieren.

Andy works on Matrix for a living and Amolith is invested in the XMPP world so we get into secure messaging, trade-offs between security and user experience, federation, and more.

Did someone know if it's possible to configure the #matrix #synapse server in that way that 1 or 2 Users on an instance can login and Write with Local-Instance users but can't search,create, invite other users or/to Room's / DM-Chats? (Only way is that the Admin will Push that user into that Rooms)
Or a Way to Limit a User how many Rooms can join.
Something like User ACL's or a Group-Right configuration.
Is that currently possible or did I need to write an own Python-Module for that?

Ohh this made me happy to see! When #Hytale was released there were as usual bridges from the in-game chat to Discord mods released quickly as well - but yesterday a bridge to #Matrix got uploaded.
