Aber das ist noch ausbaufähig.
zB nichts schreiben, wenn es eh nur um die 21 Grad warm ist.

A couple of months ago I've read this Mastodon thread by someone (Terence Eden maybe?) that basically broke down why Matrix is pretty unusable in its current state, so bad that not even the Matrix organization (or some other organization related to Matrix) does not even use it for their internal communications... Something along those lines!
Does anyone know which thread I'm talking about? Can't find it right now 🤔

#matrix is a good idea, but IMHO what makes IRC great (putting the user base aside, nothing beats IRC in that regard) is the fact that there is no polished matrix client. All of them suck in some degree.

They actively support and develop e2ee in matrix and using it even.
They invest a lot of money into research and development for this public good...
They should be the 1st front of defending end to end encryption.
