You're welcome. I think this is a common mistake. There is probably a setting in most #Mastodon apps to specify which language the user prefers most often. Many users probably forget to check it and leave it as the default, which is often English.

Nach meinem Wissen hat Mastodon eine sehr exzessive maximale Eingabelänge pro Post. 11k Zeichen, in anderen Worten um die 2000 Wörter, ausreichend für mehr als eine Seite A4 bei 12 Punkten.
Dennoch sehe ich hier zunehmend "besonders wichtige" Fadenliebhabende (mwd) die das 1/n+1 Posts Spiel im guten alten 140 Zeichen Twitter-Stil in der Hoffnung auf Reichweite und die unrollapp spielen.
in anderen Worten: Guckt auf das UI und nutzt die Software entsprechend. [...] 🙄

Strange.
Posting animated GIFs (downloaded from giphy, and playing fine in Photos) has stopped working for me since at least a couple of weeks (both from Ice Cube and @crowfi ). When I post them, it looks like only the first frame gets posted as a static image.
Anyone having the same problem, or any idea on what’s going on whatsoever? Guess it’s some conversion problem, but I can’t understand why everything was working fine till some time ago 🤷🏼♂️🤔
