When I tap a Mastodon notification, why don't I go directly to that notification in the app? It doesn't even open the Notifications tab. Why do I have to pull down on the Notifications tab THREE times before I even get to see any new notifications?? This sucks. #mastodonapp #mastodon #ios

なんで #Tumblr の話かと言えば、現在的にTumblrはどういう使い方をするのが「正解」なのかな、と悩んでいるから。
#Twitter (当時)の頃は長文投稿サービス然とした使い方をしていたけど、 #X になってからはプランによっては投稿が140字でなくなったし、そもそも #mastodon や #misskey なら、大体のポストは文字数を気にする必要がない程度には長文投稿が可能になって、そういう使い道では出番がなくなったよね。

Wondering if Mastodon is really the right space for me. Even with 10,000 characters, my last post still felt cramped. I have so much to say, and trying to pour that into any fixed container is a challenge. Perhaps Substack suits my long-form tendencies better. Is lengthy content considered poor etiquette here? Genuinely curious what others think.

@thomas I do wish #mastodon had the ability to resize and convert cached media like IceshrimpNET does.
Because it would result in overall fewer writes to the NVME/SSD drives.
I mean you could just use Wasabi or something, but eh.
I'm burning through around ~40GB/day in write activity on this instance and I don't even relay much.
