I met Mastodon in 2022 and registered in metalhead.club, but as the most servers out there, it didn't let me write more than 666 characters (xD funny, isn't it? 😈 ). So I started looking for an instance that would allow me to write longer and that was aligned with my interests. I found one and migrate: a server specialized in music. But... sadly, my "political" opinions were not welcome due to its content restrictions... That was disappointing. That's why I'm here now, in beige.party, a highly recommended server by several contacts I had in metalhead.club. They were right, so here I am, starting from scratch again. I'm just waiting for the 30 days period Mastodon takes to allow a new migration.
I'm beginning to post exclusively here, so I will post a statement on my other account to let my followers know that they can find me here from now on.

#Mastodon tiene un ratelimit bien absurdo en el endpoint media_proxy, 30 medios en 10 minutos máximo
Si por ejemplo, el servidor es limpiado a diario de la caché de medios, estos tienen que volverse a descargar y/o proxyficar en la instancia, y si quieres ver ese contenido, te bloquea muy rápido
Se modificó el código de bonito.cafe para relajar esos límites, es bastante molesto estar explorando y que las imágenes, audio y video no carguen

@markwyner Did @Mastodon GmbH formally join @w3c or the particular W3C working group? Even if the WG notes [1] sound like the former, the official members list [2] suggest the later. But maybe the list has not been updated yet?
