Adjusting how feeds work on #mastodon today. Hiding and or blocking an account current triggers the event but only updates on view refresh. At least for #ios. Android seems to work as I’d expect. It’s gonna be a slow roll of some personal changes id like to see but happy to share any findings! #swift #apple #xcode #swiftui #unofficial #regulardude

Is there a #Mastodon client for #Android or Web that loads compressed versions of images attached in post?
One of the reasons my internet bandwidth drains quickly is because Mastodon loads original, uncompressed files.

La caída que figura hoy, no es caída, es que momentáneamente los servidores de UptimeRobot (el servicio gratuito que utilizamos para el monitoreo externo de nuestros servidores) quedaros bloqueados de nuestra red porque estuvimos agregando más IPs de la lista TopSpammers y como ellos salen por Cloudflare, quedaron bloqueados. Nos llevo un ratito arreglar el problema pero ya está. Queda un manchoncito en el historialde uptime, pero ese no cuenta #uptime #undernet #mastodon #mantenimiento

My 4th Fediversary was this past Saturday, April 25th.
At the time, I started our with an account on Mastodon Dot Social after fleeing from Twitter. I do not regret leaving.
Being on a smaller Instance has been better. Better moderation, overall, for the most part. And I've been enjoying separating my manga / anime / music content from my video game posts over at @mdmrn@mstdn.games. This is new, for me, but I've been enjoying it. It keeps the two lists a little more focused.
Anyway, here's to many more years on the Fediverse.

The same people who run Mastodon Dot Cloud also run Mstdn Dot JP.
Ironically, while Mstdn was also using old software, it was still staffed. There were people there trying to keep it going, and you needed staff approval to join.
However, Mstdn Dot JP is now also offline.
I'm kind of sad to see that one offfline. I used to have an account there.

Mensen, die in verband met #Koningsdag naar #anarchie roepen, hier op #Mastodon. Ze weten niet wat ze eisen: één samenleving zonder #rechtsorde, dus zonder bescherming van #minderheden, van kinderen, ouderen, mensen met een beperking enz.
Geef mij maar #rechtsorde, de #rechtsstaat met zijn instituties. De #Koning behoort daar ook bij. Hij lijkt mij zijn ambt met waardigheid en bekwaamheid te vervullen en probeert te verbinden. 1/
