To those who’ve set up #followRequests: Don’t be surprised if you’re currently receiving lots of requests from accounts that appear empty or look familiar.
There’s a major wave of users #migrating, particularly away from mstdn.ca (which seems to be experiencing issues). When someone migrates, the request is sent again, and it takes a while for the #followers to appear on the new profile. The #Mastodon web app works super as far as I've been able to tell. But the way the screen is organised doesn't appeal to me at all. I know this is a shallow perspective: but it's quite unattractive.
And it has some usability question marks too. Like the way the text area you're writing and editing in is positioned. #ux
I hope the new UX:ers at Mastodon have a look at this. I'm sure one could do lots of great stuff here.

@hackillu We have something like #groups https://fedi.tips/how-to-use-groups-on-the-fediverse/ but it feels more like RSS than a forum. It's just boosting everything for the group.
Unfortunately, the very vibrant gup.pe groups are destroyed and the new ones are only slowly taking traction.
Everyone can set up such a group with @hello
