Only thing I'm really iffy on is the removal of the "follows you" indicator, but otherwise good stuff here. Mastodon gets a lot of flack, including from me, about its UX esp. given it's the first one at the door fedi-wise, and it's nice to see they're putting UX over decentralisation much like Bluesky did (and we know how that turned out for Bluesky - between the two, Bluesky has the juice). It's fine for people to learn about it later.

It's funny how some people say they joined because our instance is Finnish. It's true that I'm Finnish and our servers are located in Finland, but we don't promote ourselves as a Finnish instance, nor are we otherwise tied to Finland.
English is my second and quite dominant language, and half of my family tree is Australian. In short, all cultures and languages are welcome here.

Today I went to the hospital because of my condition… but the news was devastating 💔
I never imagined I'd reach this point.
The doctors told me that blood clots have started forming in my leg, and that the situation has become very serious, with complications that could lead to amputation, God forbid.
They asked me to buy medication urgently to prevent my condition from worsening, but unfortunately, the treatment costs over $500, an amount I simply cannot afford.
If I don't start treatment immediately, I might lose my leg… and maybe my whole life will change 😢. I also need urgent surgery to save me before it's too late.
I returned to the tent devastated… I sat crying in front of my family, helpless to do anything.
I never imagined I would experience so much pain and fear.
Please… I implore you from the bottom of my heart 🙏
Don't leave me alone in this ordeal.
Help me before it's too late, before I lose my leg.
