Ok, maybe I'm not quite the right for quote posts, but making them a drop-down with the boost button is horrible design. Boosts are the main way to share posts, but adding that extra click and mouse movement is putting up a barrier to that functionality, even if it seems like a small one.
Quote post functionality should be moved to the dot menu instead.

I don't understand this quote implementation, a lot of those quotes by @dimillian are "This post is pending approval from the original author."
It must be some weird federation requirement to accept the quote until it appears, yet another "be in the biggest server, get best experience" feature.

Not complaining, you understand, but I for one would have greatly preferred simple formatting (`code` in particular, and ``` code blocks) in #Mastodon instead of the quoots.
