Wenn mir ein Konto unangenehm auffällt, ich dem aber noch eine Chance geben will, möchte ich mir das Konto als "verwarnt" markieren, aber so, dass nur ich das sehe.
Heute gelernt: JA, GEHT! Man kann zu jedem Konto eine "persönliche Notiz" erstellen, die man nur selbst sieht.
Ich schreib da wohl, erst mal nur ein Emoji rein. Wenn das mehrfach passiert, wird das Konto irgendwann blockiert.

I used to just read everything, but need better tools to help with less frequent access but not missing things.

I applied for a job with The Green Party. Its a frontend developer role, but its heavily involved with #WordPress. I have worked with WordPress (Like 10 years ago), but I don't have extensive, recent experience with it.
The salary offering is between 31k to 35k GBP.
I'm a senior full stack developer with a wide breadth and depth of experience. I've worked in the public sector for years.

I still think one of the big issues for #Mastodon is linking to posts on other servers, and it not recognising you're logged in.
It makes it much harder to follow that user / like their post etc.
Instead, you have to go to their bio, copy their username, and then go back to your instance and search for it.
I'm aware of the technical challenges here, but it's not great UX 😬

Ja, das sollte doch #Konsens unter Demokratinnen & Demokraten sein: Bei allen Unterschieden immer wieder auch das Gemeinsame anzuerkennen.
Rechtsdualisten bekämpfen genau das, aber auch linksdualistische #Macker auf #Mastodon ticken oft völlig aus, insbesondere gegenüber Frauen. So gibt es auch hier immer wieder höhnisch herabsetzende Namenstags & die Sprache gleitet schnell ins Vulgäre. Der #Sexismus hier ggü. erfolgreichen Christdemokratinnen ist oft krass… 🤔🇪🇺💡

Just 24 hours of using #TapestryApp, the thing that made the most difference to me as an #ActuallyAutistic prone to #Mastodon overwhelm is you can set up every single feed to be visually differentiated by:
- Post size (default, mini, collapsed, expanded), and
- Post colour (nine to choose from)
This meant that I can now use the New Today timeline meaningfully, instead of feeling forced to choose between overwhelm, or giving up following interests.
A curated timeline at last I can use! 🥳
