If Naturism was all about exhibitionists with perfect bodies and gifted genitalia, then I certainly wouldn't be classed as a Naturist.
However, I am proud to say I am a Naturist, BECAUSE of my faults...

I just want to inform you all that I've decided to grant you total freedom of post length, within your specified server limit. I release you from interrogation and scrutiny as to detail level and subject matter range. Your interests are valid, even though I might not agree with them or like them. Even the ones which reveal an uncomfortable and even - gasp - affronting level of technical depth. Geeks and nerds, after all, are a strong majority of the Mastodon users. I was waist-deep in the pool, waiting for the volleyball to come back over the net, when a horrifying thought hit me: I’ve forgotten to put clothes on! My stomach dropped as I was instantly transported into my worst nightmare, hyper-aware of my completely bare body. That is, until a split second later when I remembered (duh) that everyone else playing pool volleyball was naked too.
That’s because I was at a clothing-optional resort on Mexico’s east coast. And far from being a nightmare, it was an experience I’d been looking forward to for months.
Locked away behind a gate and high fences within a larger resort, this (sort of) secret oasis could host about 60 people and came complete with a private bar, two restaurants, jacuzzis, ocean-front daybeds, salsa classes, circus performances, and more.
My good friend (a long-time naturist) and I stuck out the moment we arrived, with nearly every other guest seeming to be a married couple in their 50s or older. They all seemed to be regulars too, telling us about the multiple visits they make each year with enthusiasm and loyalty that seems to ring true for all naturist spots.
Even the staff were passionate, with the receptionist jokingly calling the clothed areas of the resort “the dark side” when we checked in (though I laughed when I later learned the clothed guests used the same nickname for this spot)...

One good thing about #BlueSky is that is has a nice #Blocking Culture.
The #Mastodon block function isn’t as good, but BlueSky users and newbies to the Fediverse should bring the Block Culture with them, let the self righteous HOAers here be lost in their own echo chambers, we don’t need them.

A complicated #mastodon solution for unwanted hashtag ads would be:
1) Require ad posts to include an ad hashtag.
2) Built-in regular expression logic for filters [Come on devs, have a heart for the mods fighting spam].
3) The addition of a filter flag to specifically exclude a post from the timeline (not just mute with a notice or mute without a notice).
