Instead of asking user to add ALT text, Mastodon should do that automatically, if user does not explicitly set the ALT text. Adding two or three clicks into posting process is another barrier to using Mastodon.

Is there a #Mastodon client that lets me do filtering on my feed? And loads and caches like 6h of my feed automatically?
Right now, I'm using #Tusky. And it's quite ok.
But I would like to:
- Hide boosts of posts from accounts I'm already following myself. (Or ideally no duplicates at all by caching some post id/hash)
- Hide/collapse/mark posts once I've scrolled past them
- Toggle to a view showing only the least interacted original posts in the cache.
