#AskFedi Why would an account show "18 posts" even after deleting everything?
Clearing out an old #Mastodon account before deleting it, but the profile says there are still 18 posts, even though "Posts and replies" is empty *and* the statuses endpoint (api/v1/accounts/{id}/statuses) yields nothing too.
At first I thought maybe it was posts in response to someone who blocked me, but searching with "from:<username>" while logged out still yields nothing.
What am I missing here?

Pues no, para nada, tengo más de una década en todo este ambiente, publicando artículos en blog y haciendo programas, desde mis tempranos inicios como invitado en aquellos viejos podcast que de seguro andan perdidos por la inmensidad de internet llamados "la taberna", "el bardo y el mago", así como el de "la calavera podcast" que se transmitió en varias estaciones de radio y el actual "la cueva del mago" por MDT radio MX, siempre he hablado acerca de mitos, tradiciones, leyendas, historia, datos curiosos, literatura, filosofía, reflexiones y temas actuales incluso, así que no, este mundo del podcasting y de la locución no es nuevo para mí.
Tal vez haya un poco de confusión porque antes me conocían como "mago del trueno" tanto en medios cómo en redes sociales y plataformas digitales (privativas) y ahora cambié a Aetherius Eldritch, pero, sigo siendo la misma persona, hablando de aquellos temas de interés, solo que ahora, debido a la censura y ataques personales que encontré en aquellas redes privativas, no estoy interesado en la cantidad de seguidores o fans que pueda tener, sino gente realmente interesada en los temas que trato y en las cosas que hablo, es por eso que ahora mi contenido es únicamente para el Fediverso, quién me conoce y sabe de toda mi trayectoria sigue a mi lado, con la grata sorpresa que hay gente muy amable por aquí que también le agrada lo que comparto y comenta mis contenidos.
La verdad es que estoy muy a gusto aquí en mast.lat y es un placer poder convivir con todos ustedes.
Tal vez podríamos considerar esto que digo como una nueva versión de #presentacion en #mastodon y el #fediverso si es que están de acuerdo en ello

**Kilkenny man to take on Dickie Dip challenge in his Dad's memory**

Graignamanagh man Tom Grace is daring to bare it all this November at the Mater Hospital Foundation's Dickie Dip event to raise vital funds for men's cancer care the Mater Hospital, all in memory and honour of his beloved father Paddy.
Tom, who is also a member of the Mater Hospital Foundation fundraising team, is going above and beyond this winter and joining 500 men on the beach in Skerries who will take a chilly dip in the Irish sea in nothing but a dickie bow and a smile.
Tom's Dad Paddy from Fairview, Graignamanagh was diagnosed with cancer and sadly passed away in December 2024. Many in the community will know Paddy, who was a renowned goalkeeper and captain of the 1973 Kilkenny team that won the All-Ireland Intermediate title.
Tom says, “What would my Dad think? Well, he'd definitely tell us we are mad fools to be charging into the sea at that time of year, but he'd be pleased as punch that his memory is helping others...
