10月23日、トランプ米大統領から表紙を酷評されたTIME誌が、雰囲気をがらりと変えた新たな表紙を発表しました。10月13日の表紙は、トランプ氏を下から撮影したもので首のしわが見えていました。さらに髪の毛が薄く TIMEの「M」が王冠のように見えるとして、自身のSNSで表紙写真はおそらく「史上最悪」と酷評していました。この酷評から約10日で、表紙写真が差し替えられることになりました。

After looking at this, got curious to know the limits in most servers.
So I did a little data analysis. Servers list from @fediverseobserver , filtered to only Mastodon & MAU > 3. A reduced dataset should be adequate for a rough approximation.

I've been mentioning Balakun, the non-profit I've been helping that connects English language mentors with Ukrainians who are trying to boost their English skills a fair amount lately.
Well, we now have a presence on Mastodon, so as a way of an #introduction , please do add @balakun to your friend's list, retoot, etc!
There are a growing amount of #mastodon users from #ukraine, and even #ukrainian and pro-Ukrainian servers lately; we hope to befriend and bring more visibility to all of them!

I love filters on Mastodon. I filtered out most of the NSFW successfully.
I love hashtags, and the ability to follow them.
A NSFW slipped through my filter, the specific post tagged a wall of non-NSFW hashtags.
I wish there's a limit to how many hashtags can be tagged per post.

There are plenty of #Digerati on #mastodon who go to #sxsw ...
#hackers , #developers , #scientists , #musicians , #entrepreneur types, #coders, #journalists ... and yes, #lgbtqia , #women , #latinos, #palestinians , visitors from other countries, etc.
Rather than gambling with the safety and basic personal rights of attendees, why not just move #sxsw online, until / unless #texas gets its shit worked out?
