Die Zitier-Funktion ist hier auf #mastodon auf diesem Server anscheinend jetzt möglich, allerdings ist diese häufig ausgeblendet.
Liegt es vielleicht daran, dass man das Zitieren ausdrücklich erlauben muss? ...

When they launched Truth Social, they had to be forced to include in their Terms & Conditions that they use Mastodon as their backend.
Not much from Trump is from America. Except for Big Macs and Coke Zero, he seems to prefer what comes from abroad.

Is there an easy way to remove the "Replies from other servers may be missing - See more replies on [instance]." warning at the bottom of threads?
I use Fedifetcher to try to download all forks of a thread contributed by our instance. Hence it probably has more replies included than the instance referred to (Assuming they don't run FediFeditcher or equivelent).
Best if it was an opt-out option on Admin settings.

The Mastodon-branded apps started out as a rush job several years ago just to get something on the app stores quickly and has a long-standing poor reputation.
There are much better ones. It's just one app out of many, after all, and is not actually core to the FediVerse.
I don't use it myself, and the best advice from years of experience seems to be when people are fighting with the Mastodon-branded app is to point them at this:

Ich habe mich gestern und heute ca. 7 Std. intensiv mit #mastodon beschäftigt und mit Erschrecken festgestellt, hier ist es ja viel schlimmer als auf #twitter. Mit ""Mastodon suche"" gezielt auf bestimmte #hashtags Schlagwörter gibt es hier Accounts und Instanzen mit PORNOS, RECHTSEXTREMISMUS, ANTISEMITISMUS, ISLAMISMUS und noch mehr übler Dreck.
Das schlimme an der Sache,es wird sich in einer Bubbel ohne Widerspruch zusammen geschlossen
