planetearth.social has been updated to Mastodon 4.5.0.
This release introduces quote posts with a refreshed composer, improved reply updates in the web interface, an updated emoji set with cleaner rendering, and a new Posting Defaults settings page. Lots of polishing and fixes under the hood as well.

My test instance has been updated to the just released 4.5 Mastodon, along with the 2.5 release of the TangerineUI theme.
The changelog for this one is a full on novel. Kudos to every single contributor and the mastodon team as a whole for their work. And @nileane for TangerineUI :)

Dla większości najatrakcyjniejsze będą w tej wersji cytaty (quote toots), a dla mnie najważniejsza zmiana to dociąganie przez serwer wszystkich odpowiedzi w wątku.
Już nie będzie "dziury" w odpowiedziach, bo coś się "nie sfederowało", bo odpowiadającego nikt nie obserwuje.
Jest jeszcze sporo innych zmian, ale to opiszę na blogasku :)
Dzięki ekipie za wiele pracy związanej z przygotowaniami automatycznych aktualizacji Mastodona. Pewnie zauważyliście, że na naszej instancji wykonują się one (rękami admińskimi i skryptami) błyskawicznie 👍 👏
Tak działa dobrze zaopiekowana instancja 💪
