それでも理解に苦しむのは、
URLは
/tags/WordPress
なのに、どうして、
/tags/wordpress
を登録するんだよ！という話。
例えば、どこかのサイトが小文字のURLでリンクを張ってしまったとする。それはGoogelに登録されるだろう。
そのせいでURLが分かれてしまって損をしているとしても、例えば、小文字のスラッグにしておいても、どこかのサイトで大文字のリンクにしちゃったら同じでは？と思う。
誤ってリンクを張られないようにするために全部小文字にしておいた方が良いよ、ということなのか？
ちなみに、この #Mastodon も内部的には大文字も小文字も同じハッシュタグページを開くみたいだけど、URLをみると、大文字は大文字のままで、大文字を含むURLも全て小文字のURLも存在する。
