#mastodon I shake my head when I see low effort posts of mostly just links without text whose single purpose is to drive traffic to another website. I am happy that mastodon let's me pick very carefully what content I want to see more of and what content I want to ignore.

The new #Mastodon web UI really is a downgrade. The pop-ups far away from the input field (and the button that opens it) are just bad UI/UX. It takes more time and is more cumbersome.
It also looks… unprofessional. Those two buttons within the input field but attached to the top left corner look like they were just a quick afterthought.

Sometimes I wish I could downvote toots on Mastodon.
No, I'm not serious--obviously we wouldn't *really* want that, for good reasons.
But having a ⬇️ button to click would be so satisfying in certain cases, even one that does nothing and no one else would ever know you clicked it.

The mastodon app Pachli (@pachli) now not only supports quote boosts, but also displays pronouns when replying to a person (if they use one of their profile fields to it).
This will save me from several "going back to check" situations. 🥰

Die Instanz https://watzmann.social war als Experiment auf einem Homeserver gestartet. Die Performance ließ jedoch trotz schneller Glasfaseranbindung sehr zu wünschen übrig. Deshalb habe ich die Instanz heute auf einen günstigen VPS umgezogen. Dort läuft die Sache wie geschmiert incl. Elasticsearch. Die Mediendaten kommen weiterhin von einem CDN. Die Anbindung mittels Cloudflaretunnel ist damit entfallen.

Ya sea que elijan enfrentar la jornada con el caos de la prisa o con la calma de la planificación, el día se despliega ante nosotros. Mientras aquí el vapor de mi café asciende, llevando consigo el aroma de la cafeína y la promesa de la vigilia, les deseo un inicio de semana que no solo sea "bonito", sino significativo.
Que encuentren un momento de quietud para reflexionar sobre lo que realmente importa, más allá del ruido de la inmediatez y la actualidad trivial.
