Han mandado desde el vicerrectorado de comunicación de la #UCM la "Guía de usos y estilo de las redes sociales corporativas de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid"* para las distintas unidades, centros y departamentos... y Mastodon no aparece...
Al menos la UCM tiene RSS: https://www.ucm.es/rss/rss.php?weid=3 que viene bien para enterarse de cosas a nivel general.

Please add option to the user interface to disable the new 'choose' by an unwanted second click whether to regular #boost or to #quote boost. For me and others it's merely introduced an 'always' second click because we didn't want quote boost in the first place.
The option to deny the option for any others to quote boost 'me' is good thanks, so a 4th option in that list of "Off" could be the way to restore the old boost icon and functionality?

@raucao It is also not a part of the official Mastodon Roadmap even though there are some open issues in the GitHub repository concerning E2EE.
I personally hope that it will get integrated into ActivityPub and/or Mastodon but for 2026 and 2027 I do not see any signs that there is anything remotely close to being published.

I've come up with guidelines for myself, in using the Mute and Block buttons. It's making for such a nice #Mastodon experience! 
To me, the mute button is for what I call the "Thought Police". They make emotionally janky, hardline ideological assertions. They don't *hope* I agree, or *expect* that I agree. They *mandate* that I agree. *That mandating earns the mute*. As to *block*, that's for psychological predators. They make a hair-pin triggered personal attack against me using, say, an ad hominem. It's always personal, predatory, and hair-pin-triggered. This earns a block.

But yes buy https://mas.to a #donut apparently (#ruby #react #nodejs) is very ressource hungry (550GB of RAM) costs of 1000 Bucks per month to run this #mastodon #server

@herrlarbig natürlich kann auch #Mastodon süchtig machen und damit gefährlich sein, aber dadurch, dass man selbst bestimmt, was in die Timeline kommt, ist die Gefahr doch deutlich geringer. Ich schiebe auch die bisher relativ geringe Reichweite von Mastodon darauf, dass die klebrigen süchtig machenden Designprinzipien hier bewusst unterlaufen wurden.
