I was kind of hoping #mastodon would be more likely to have less of the stuff that make the modern Internet insufferable, that it would be a place where people share their art and their joy and have intelligent conversations where maybe you disagree every now and then but it's okay.
It seems like that was a little naive of me.
The world is full of manically depressed, caged animals who believe themselves the ultimate authority on their subject.
Don't let them radicalize you.

Aus dem #Mastodon Blog: „Auf der Grundlage der Wiederbeschaffungskosten, der von Eugen [Rochko] investierten Zeit und Mühe sowie des fairen Marktwerts der Marke Mastodon, der damit verbundenen Vermögenswerte und des sozialen Netzwerks einigten wir uns auf eine einmalige Entschädigung in Höhe von 1 Million Euro."
Abgedeckt ist das wohl durch einige millionenstarke Spenden einzelner Firmen.
