@nycki I bandied the idea of a #Flarum forum in the past (Flarum is lightweight, *and* looks great on mobile, unlike https://wrongplanet.net/forums/), but there wasn't enough interest. I had no one willing to help with #forum moderation. Server setup - when low-maintenance enough - is something I have talent enough to do, and maintain.
Alas, the #autistic community doesn't have the strength in numbers, and will to escape the #enshittification, eschewing the closed-source, more popular-yet-surveillance-capitalism-style forums like #Discord.
PS: It's a small miracle this #Mastodon instance I'm on is autistic-themed (*and* runs on #OpenSource software, *and* looks great on mobile). Thanks @AutisticInnovator !!

Okay, this is weird. I enabled streaming for home and notifications in #FastSM, restarted the app, and now my home timeline is just...gone. I know I didn't hide it or anything. Has anyone else seen this? I even tried restarting the app a second time. It's still gone.#accessibility #ScreenReader #Mastodon @main @mastoblind @FastSM

Wait a minute, why is #proton on all the socials EXCEPT #mastodon (but it is on Twitter, BSKY, Threads, Whatsapp, Telegram)?
Also, I saw they have a notes app (Standarad Notes) that is apparantly run from the US (and not Europe). What is up with that? I joined (and trust) Proton as a secure and privacy-by-design alternatieves to Big Tech.

If I want to ignore an automated/bot account, am I better off using Mute or Block on Mastodon?
From my point of view it makes no difference, they vanish from my timeline. But which is less effort for my server to process?
Does it even matter?
