Is this a #Tusky or #mastodon software problem? Are there any constraints or requirements wrt to animated GIFs?

They *still* haven't fixed the thing where images aren't displayed if the cached copy has expired even if the original post still exists... or the thing where posts deleted on other instances, with the delete not propagated, are cleaned up and removed.

How can #loops #video work over the long term? Storage and bandwidth costs for all that video will add up quick. How will it be sustained? For both the project and for individual servers.
