Also ich sach ma, @Eigenraum hat zwar nur 590 Follower auf #Mastodon aber die absoluten Interaktionszahlen sind ähnlich.

I think that there are many advantages in having a small userbase on a social media platform. Since early civilization formed, we have engaged in small communities. These social circles allow us to engage meaningfully with each person and build a trust network. I belive that we should design our technologies around humans, and humans need tight-knit groups.
I feel that too much emphasis is put on reaching as many people as possible. When I receive only a few dozen like, I am happy. 25 people congratulating and recognizing you feels amazing. However, 25,000 people feels fake.
There is still a place for large platforms, but small platforms create a human way to connect in a world that moves so fast

Kennt dasnoch jemand, wenn man aus #Signal Fediverse-Links öffnet und sich für Reaktionen im Browser erst jedesmal anmelden (d.h. Username@instanz.social angeben) muss?
Ich hätte das gern komfortabler. Aber wenn ich den Link zu teilen versuche, legt meine #Mastodon-App @Tusky einen neuen Beitrag mit dem Link an. Gelesen oder reagiert habe ich dann noch gar nicht.
Kennt hier jemand eine Lösung dafür?
