New LinkedIn terms-of-service notification came into my inbox yesterday. They've opted users "in my region" (presumably Canada) into sharing data to train AI models, including to partners such as Microsoft. These go into effect Nov 3 and for now can be opted-out through a setting linked in the email.

OK. I have (at least) one major gripe about #LinkedIn.
I was a member of a group called LGBTQIA Professionals until about two hours ago.
It was all very nice and everything, but it flooded my feed with constant intro posts. Now that wasn't too awful.
But the vast majority of these intro posts showed an either a scantily clad man at the beach, or a scantily clad man in the gym or a scantily clad man with his tits out. Failing that, it's an awful selfie of a pouty man, scantily clad or not.
Not here for that. If you are, good for you. But not for me.

auf #linkedin verhauen sich die leute gerade - warum? weil sie fordern, dass in #bewerbungen der bewerber zuerst ein #iq test machen muss und dann einen externen fähgigkeit tests....
und ich wette danach gibts 12 runden gespräce mit dem unternehmen
