I noticed that even recruiters still left on #LinkedIn have beyond desperate quality leads. I specialize in getting manufacturing plants into peak efficiency, but the networking from LinkedIn is beyond garbage to work with. Only fungus can recycle that level of enshitification

I hope someone in academia is studying #LinkedIn derangement syndrome, because it plays out regularly.
That's where an otherwise knowledgeable person conflates what plays on LinkedIn for legitimate industry direction. Or, in the absence of clear signal in the wider world, they over-index what the LinkedIn's bubble is broadcasting. Audience capture happens across all sorts of #socialMedia, but when its the network espousing multi-million, multi-year tech bets, it's a fraught situation

We need a hastag to discuss the dreadful state of technology. I suggest #techdoom . Everything requires a security check these days. It is becoming a dead weight. #Vodafone has such strict security no one can talk to them. I logged into #linkedin with the correct username and password and it said it looked 'suspicious'. Linkedin is suspicious.
