I'm starting with #LinkedIn, the professional network that offers me not much value, drains my energy, and toggles my privacy settings when they want. Wil jij ook weg bij #LinkedIn, maar toch nog twijfels? Dat had ik ook. Sinds gisteren is voor mij operatie #LinkedOverAndOut gestart.
Doelen:
- In stappen weg
- Regie behouden in plaats van 🔥
- Verwijzen naar meer toekomstbestendig alternatieven (+ principe van POSSE)
- Meer privacy
- Over naar Europese techniek en hosting

🔥 HOT TIP: If you feel like you may be getting recruiter messages on #LinkedIn that you suspect may possibly, definitely, be AI-generated, and nobody actually looked at your profile for even just two seconds, and you kinda hate that - add a lil something-something containing ⚠️ important instructions ⚠️ at the end of your summary.
Like, for example, if you were to hypothetically add a sentence on how the message to the candidate must include a poem about a wizard with a fabulous hat, then you would hypothetically be able to have a really good laugh when the recruiter messages with poems about wizards with fabulous hats come rolling in.

Eerste versie van de blogpost om van #LinkedIn af te stappen heb ik gedeeld met een groep mensen. Wellicht iemand gemist, want het aantal DM's was groter dan verwacht. Aankomende dagen verzamel ik de feedback om het artikel met stappenplan verder uit te breiden, inclusief meer veelgestelde vragen.

I have closed my #LinkedIn account. I closed it with the following reason: "I mostly get contacted by recruiters nothing of value is lost.". Drop the #BigTech. Going to look for a #european alternative, or many none at all... we will see
