I've been using #git daily for almost a decade, yet I had no clue about the power of pathspecs. Or where to find it documented (hidden in "git help glossary"):

- match filenames accross directories
- match from repository top directory
- match case-insensitive
- exclude files matching a pattern

Speaking of things related to #Git and PDFs, TIL pre-commit has a virtual "fail" language, you can use to block certain file patterns from being committed. .gitignore is important for this, but could accidentally get changed. This is a useful extra check to make sure you don't add something sensitive to version control

#git worktrees is a surprisingly useful feature. I had known about worktrees for a while, but this is the first time I am using them.
Not very useful for my main Godot project (because of the way the Godot launcher works and because of caching and the way I am handling large binary files). But for everything else I am probably starting to make use of worktrees.

I have almost never used customize folder on macOS, until now - then when I opened Fork (https://fork.dev) app, I noticed the same tag showed up! 🤯 amazing! 🤩
