Ich hätte gerne sowas wie git subtrees, aber es dauert nicht Tage, um Änderungen in alle subtrees zu pushen 🙄

There ought to be something to call a situation where detractors' criticism or mockery becomes a neutral name or even a badge of pride, like various reclaimed slurs or the Tories and Whigs in British history, even the version control software #Git or the website Misfit Loser Zealot Club misfitloserzealot.club/ . A "pejoranym," perhaps? A search tells me this is a Polish word for pejorative, I wonder if it has the Latin etymology one would expect from looking at it xD

My blog #BurgeonLab relies on #SourceHut Git and Builds. They’ve been down and at first I couldn’t deploy my site to my static host, #Bunnynet.

This triggered me to create a local script that runs all the fetch/build steps as an alternative pathway to upload directly from my Mac instead of using the CI runner.

I gave in and started adding the ability to stage, commit, and push files from inside dv, my "diff viewer" TUI 🤦‍♂️

For the past few weeks I've essentially always had dv running in a split pane in my terminal, and most of the time after viewing the diff, I commit and push.

My goal is to get that 90% flow down to as satisfyingly few keystrokes as possible.

New reason to run #Forgejo. You'll almost certainly have better uptime than #GitHub.

I guess there's technically one nine in that uptime, but not in the decimal position you'd want it to be in.
