I've been having a rough few days and now this:

```
$ git diff
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
```

What a week, captain.

#git #segfault

"Radicle is an open source, peer-to-peer code collaboration stack built on Git. Unlike centralized code hosting platforms, there is no single entity controlling the network. Repositories are replicated across peers in a decentralized manner, and users are in full control of their data and workflow."

#PSA: It's not the source code that's the problem with the #GitHub situation. You're already using a distributed version control system, congrats!

Clearly it's the added value, which are things we might always have been looking for alternatives for, and in some cases will be easier to replace than others.

Some action runners might hurt. GitHub pages. Their "social layer" etc.

Your source? It's fine if you commit to mirroring it/moving it to the next hosted/self-hosted service.

So I'm not going to disable my #Github account or anything, but I did just open up external registration on my private #git #server and my current plan is to #migrate "primary" status for my repositories off of Github and onto the #WageNet. I'll use Github and #Codeberg as mirrors that hopefully provide a little more visibility. I hope Github has a way to transmute a #repository to a synced clone.
