Mon calendrier de l’avent – jour 11
Comme à peu près tous les développeurs du monde, j’utilise maintenant git depuis des années. Mais, je pense que ça se voit dans l’historique de ce blog, je n’aime pas la ligne de commande. Donc j’utilise git dans une vraie interface graphique. Tant que j’étais sous Windows, j’utilisais SourceTree avec plus ou moins de plaisir (essentiellement parce que le client git d’Eclipse propose une expérience utilisateur que je ne comprends pas). Evidement, quand je suis passé sous Linux, j’ai perdu cet outil. J’ai donc dû le remplacer. Comme au même moment je donnais une POEI pour former des profils DevOps, ce sont mes apprenants qui m’ont montré en premier les extensions Git pour VSCode. Et autant celle par défaut est assez frustre (elle permet les commits et c’est tout), autant git graph offre une vraie bonne vision d’un repository.
Je peux ainsi manipuler tranquillement mon historique (chose que je ne fais jamais) et forger de bons commits.
