Hey everyone — I need to be honest about something.
I’m done with Roblox. It used to be fun, something I jumped into to relax and hang out with people. Lately it’s just made me uncomfortable and frustrated, so I’m stepping away for good. I’m not logging back in, I won’t add anyone from Roblox, and I’m done joining clans.
Small changes feel like big problems to me: “Friends” becoming “Connections,” the new “Trusted Connections” label, and removing basic protections like swear filters. On top of that I’ve seen sexualized stuff and other things that shouldn’t be there, and the way moderation handles reports feels slow and inconsistent. When users say there’s a problem and it’s ignored or half-fixed, it breaks trust.
I’m sad the place I used to enjoy feels unsafe and unaccountable. That’s why I’m choosing not to follow Roblox news anymore and not to support the platform. If you still play, please watch out for sketchy content and look after younger players — it’s worth thinking about whether the platform still deserves your time.
